森のそば、ホストのすぐ隣で過ごす素朴な時間

私たちの家のすぐ隣にある、3LDKの中古木造一戸建てで、静かなひとときをお過ごしください。就寝・仕事・リラックスのための十分なプライベート空間を確保しつつ、お食事や文化交流の場として、ホストファミリーがすぐ近くにいる安心感も得られます。

定員は5名まで受け入れ可能です。

A Simple Stay in the Woods—Next Door to Your Hosts

Experience a tranquil retreat in our 3LDK wooden countryside house, located right next to our home. Enjoy full privacy for sleeping, working, and relaxing, with the comfort of having your host family nearby for meals and cultural exchange.

この家には、12.5畳・6畳・4畳の和式の居室が3部屋あり、最大5名までご宿泊いただけます。

寝具はすべて、昔ながらの「床に直接敷くスタイル」の和式布団。マットレスもベッドフレームもありません。快適な眠りにこだわりのある方は、寝具を追加でお持ちいただくことをおすすめします。

特に12.5畳の広々としたお部屋は、自然光がたっぷりと入り、窓からは木々や小鳥を眺めることができます。一日を通して静かな環境ですので、都会の喧騒から離れてぐっすりと眠れます。

冬の寒い時期には各居室にヒーターが完備されています。

お持ちの荷物は、押し入れに収納していただけます。

仕事や勉強が必要な方のために、大きめのデスクもご用意していますので作業スペースとしてもご利用いただけます。

滞在中は当ホームステイの高速Wi-Fiを無料でご利用いただけます。

This house has three Japanese-style rooms: 12.5 tatami, 6 tatami, and 4 tatami. It can accommodate up to five guests.

All bedding consists of traditional Japanese futons laid directly on the floor—there are no mattresses or bed frames. If you’re particular about sleep comfort, we recommend bringing additional bedding of your own.

The spacious 12.5-tatami room is especially bright, with plenty of natural light and views of trees and birds from the windows. It’s quiet throughout the day, offering a restful environment far removed from city noise.

During the colder months, each room is equipped with a heater for warmth.

You can store your belongings in the built-in closet (oshiire).

For those who need to work or study, a large desk is available and can be used as a workspace.

High-speed Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout your stay.

リビングダイニング

リビング・ダイニング・キッチンはすべて一体型のコンパクトな空間で、昭和レトロな雰囲気があります。決しておしゃれではありませんが、滞在中に快適に過ごすための基本的な設備は整っています。

キッチンは最小限の仕様になっており、小型冷蔵庫、電子レンジ、IHコンロ（1口）、電気ケトルをご用意しています。軽い食事の準備や、お湯を沸かしてお茶を飲むには十分ですが、大がかりな調理や大人数分の料理には向いていません。

ダイニングにはアメリカンカントリースタイルのテーブルがあり、朝食や温かい飲み物を楽しむのにぴったりです。ソファもあり、読書や会話、リラックスしたひとときを過ごせます。にぎやかな娯楽空間というよりは、静かで素朴な日常を楽しむ場所です。

寒い時期には暖房を完備しており、室内全体で高速Wi-Fiがご利用いただけます。

この共用スペースは家全体をつなぐ役割を果たしており、他の部屋と同じように、素朴で実用的、そしてどこか安心感のある“暮らしの空気”が流れています。

The living, dining, and kitchen areas are all combined into one compact space with a retro Showa-era feel. It’s not fancy, but it has everything you need for simple, comfortable living during your stay.

The kitchen is minimal by design. It includes a small refrigerator, a microwave, a single-burner IH cooktop, and an electric kettle—perfect for reheating food, boiling water, or preparing light meals and tea. Please note that it’s not suitable for large cooking projects or meal prep for a group.

There’s a American country style dining table for enjoying breakfast or a warm drink, and a sofa for relaxing, reading, or chatting. It’s a cozy space, best suited for quiet, simple routines rather than entertainment.

Heating is provided during the colder months, and high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the space.

This shared area connects the rest of the house and provides a warm, lived-in atmosphere that reflects the rest of the home: simple, practical, and quietly comforting.

浴室&洗濯

お風呂場は天然石を使った岩風呂。小さめながらも旅館風の静かな雰囲気があり、ほっと一息つける空間です。ただし、天井の一部が階段の裏になっていて低くなっているため、入浴の際は頭上にご注意ください。

洗面・脱衣スペースはシンプルで、小さな洗面台と鏡があります。

洗濯機は設置されていませんが、車で5～10分ほどの場所にコインランドリーがありますので、必要な方はそちらをご利用ください。

長期滞在のお客様は、ホストファミリー宅の洗濯機と乾燥機もお使いいただけます。私たちは高品質な無添加・オーガニック洗剤を使用しており、お洗濯もお肌にやさしく効果的です。必要最低限のお荷物でいらしても、清潔で快適な環境を保つことができます。

滞在期間中は、清潔なタオルとリネンを提供いたします。日常のルーティンを豊かにするちょっとした贅沢をお楽しみください。

The bathroom features a rock-style tub made with natural stone. Though compact, it has a tranquil, ryokan-like atmosphere—perfect for taking a moment to relax. Please note that part of the ceiling is lower due to the staircase above, so be mindful of your head while bathing.

The washroom and changing area are simple, with a small sink and mirror.

There is no washing machine in the house, but coin laundries are available within a 5–10 minute drive for guests who need to do laundry.

Guests staying for longer periods may also use the washing machine and dryer at the host family’s house. We use high-quality, additive-free, organic detergents that are both gentle on the skin and effective. This means you can travel light and still maintain a clean, comfortable stay.

Clean towels and linens will be provided during your stay. We hope these small comforts help enrich your daily routine.

屋外エリア

建物の奥には、静かな裏庭とファイヤーピットがあります。屋外スペースで、澄んだ空気と静かな環境をお楽しみください。

星空の下で焚き火を囲んでマシュマロを焼いてスモアを作ったり、星空の下で焼き芋をしたり、おしゃべりを楽しむこともできますが、ご利用には事前の許可が必要です。天候や滞在スタイルによっては準備できない場合もありますので、ご希望の方はお早めにご相談ください。

火の使用は21時まで、音も最小限に。ご近所さんや森の生き物たちにやさしく過ごしていただけると嬉しいです。

閑静な別荘地エリアをのんびり散歩し、夏は涼しく冬は適度に暖かい地域の気候をご体験ください。

また、興味があったら家周りのDIYプロジェクトにも参加してみてください。任意ですが、基本的な大工スキルや英語表現を楽しく学ぶのに最適です。

午後には近隣ホテルにあるサウナ付き温泉まで散歩がてら、リラックスしたひとときを過ごしに行ってみてください。

そして日中、猫と一緒に散歩をするユニークな体験にもぜひ参加してみてください。自然と親しみ、ペットとなごめる、特別な体験です。

At the back of the house, you’ll find a quiet backyard and a firepit. Enjoy the fresh air and peaceful atmosphere in this outdoor space.

If you’d like, you can gather around the fire under the stars to roast marshmallows, make s’mores, bake sweet potatoes, and enjoy relaxed conversation. Please note that use of the firepit requires advance permission. Depending on the weather and the nature of your stay, we may not always be able to prepare it, so be sure to let us know early if you’re interested.

Fires must be put out by 9:00 PM, and noise should be kept to a minimum. We appreciate your kindness toward our neighbors—and the animals living in the surrounding forest.

You’re also welcome to take a stroll through the quiet villa neighborhood and enjoy the refreshing climate of this area—cool in the summer and moderately warm in the winter.

If you’re interested, you’re also invited to join in our ongoing DIY projects around the property. Participation is optional, but it’s a fun way to learn basic carpentry skills and practical English expressions.

In the afternoons, we recommend walking to a nearby hotel with a sauna and hot spring for a relaxing break.

And during the day, consider joining us for a unique experience—taking a walk with our cat. It’s a special way to connect with nature and unwind with the help of a charming animal companion.

Because this is an old, simple home in a rural area, please accept that:

  • The wallpaper is dated.
  • There might be occasional bugs and creaky floors.
  • The weather is cool, so there is no AC.
  • The kitchen is intentionally minimal because you will be having most meals with us.
